We are a truly local organisation (established in 2007 following the transfer of Torridge District Councils housing stock) and deal in a hands-on way with local housing issues providing nearly 1,700 homes. We offer a variety of housing including affordable rented accommodation, shared ownership properties and sheltered housing. Tarka Housing is also a member of Westward Housing Group, and with Westcountry Housing, the Group provides and manages more than 6,000 homes in Devon and Cornwall.
