Get Involved
Resident Involvement is at the heart of everything we do at Tarka Housing.
There are many ways for Tarka customers to get involved and make a difference. From Mystery Shopping, being a member of the Youth Forum or completing surveys, to medium-level involvement such as being a member of a User Panel. Higher-levels of involvement like being a member of the Scrutiny Panel or a Resident Auditor, are also available. Whatever your preferred level of involvement we will provide training to help you get the most out of your experience of working with Tarka Housing.
How we see ourselves and how others see us doesn’t always match up. The staff at Tarka Housing want to encourage a joint approach to delivering its services that involves working closely with its customers. What you have to say can make a difference – your opinion does matter, but it needs to be heard! So we are hosting Customer Involvement Taster events during August as follows.
-
Bideford - 10th August 2010
-
Torrington - 17th August 2010
-
Holsworthy - 24th August 2010
More details will be available over the next few weeks and sent out to all our customers.
-
We are recruiting for members of the Scrutiny Panel, which will be looking closely at our service provision in a number of key areas. This will give our customers a new opportunity to have a powerful say in how Tarka Housing operates.
-
Resident Auditors are an essential part of Tarka’s commitment to continuous improvement. At the moment Tarka is actively recruiting Auditors.
-
If you are a Tarka customer aged between 11-18 (or have son or daughter in this age bracket) we are recruiting for members of the Youth Forum.
