Resident Auditors
Our team of Resident Auditors looks into every detail of that happens behind the scenes at Westward.
Supported by the Resident Involvement staff, they produce comprehensive reports highlighting good practice and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Resident Auditors have specialist training in all areas of skills needed for the role before they begin as an Auditor and during each project. All team members sign a confidentiality agreement. Each project lasts about 3 months with Residents Auditors meeting up to once a week. Resident Auditors also frequently undertake work between the meetings.
Westward's Resident Auditors receive expenses to cover home broadband costs and an allowance of £10 a day to cover expenses for each day they work as an Auditor. In addition, all travel and reasonable care costs are reimbursed. Interested in joining?
Resident Auditor Current Project
Westward's Resident Auditors are currently working on a project looking at the quality of the Aids and Adaptations service across Westcountry and Tarka. Their report will form part of a wider review of this service that we are currently undertaking. As part of this project the Resident Auditors will be ringing all residents who have had an adaptation to their property within the past 2 years to talk to them about their experience.
