This is a Westward Housing Group initiative and will involve residents’ from both Tarka Housing and Westcountry. The project will be serviced by resident involvement staff from both subsidiaries.
The resident auditors will have several functions. These are:
· Carrying out audits of any service area at the start of a review process.
· Carrying out impact assessments following a change to a service or the introduction of a
new policy or procedure.
· Carrying out mystery shopping of services. For example, evaluating the quality
of reception services against Audit Commission standards or assessing printed
information for plain English.
Projects can be commissioned by either of the Boards, Westcountry’s Joint Liaison Committee, Tarka’s Residents’ Panel or the respective resident involvement teams.
