Customer Involvement Impact Assessment

At Tarka we believe that it is important that our customers know what kind of difference (impact) they are making to how we provide services.

Although the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) no longer requires housing associations to do an impact assessment, at Tarka we believe it is good practice to have one.

Many changes have taken place over the past year, including the ways in which customers can be involved in working with Tarka.

The first and most obvious change is that although we still refer to tenants and residents, we regard everyone that we provide a service to as customers. This includes shared owners and leaseholders as well.

Resident Involvement

There are many ways you can get involved and make a difference: from mystery shopping, being a member of the Youth Forum or completing surveys, to being a member of a user panel.

If you can make a greater commitment to involvement you could be a member of the Scrutiny Panel or a Resident Auditor.

Whatever your preferred level of involvement we will provide training to help you get the most out of your experience of working with Tarka.

If you are a Tarka customer aged between 11-18 (or have son or daughter in this age bracket) we are recruiting for members of the Youth Forum.

If you are interested in getting involved or would like to find out more, please contact us on 01237 428088, or write to Resident Involvement, Tarka Housing, Tarka House, Clovelly Industrial Estate, Bideford EX39 3HN.
