COMMUNITY VISITS
Tarka launched new look Community Visits in June 2010 after Westward Auditors interviewed 100 tenants, housing and maintenance staff and took part in some estate inspections and made improvement suggestions last year.
Tarka also sought further feedback from tenants on ways we could improve the service and found:
69% of tenants are happy with the cleanliness within communal blocks
62% of tenants are happy with the grounds maintenance within their community
33% of tenants would like to participate in Community Visits
As part of the new look visits, Tenant Panel Members and representatives from the Asset Management team will be attending visits, giving you the chance to discuss and look at any outstanding issues.
Tarka carries out its estate inspections by way of Community Visits to all its schemes of ten or more properties.
Please do get in touch with your Housing Officer and join them on the next Community Visit to your neighbourhood. Every tenant has been given details of when they will be carried out, if you have not please just call us to check.
